ABOUT ME/ COUNSELING PHILOSOPHY
“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.” – Noam Shpancer
Thank you for taking the very first step in your mental health journey. I know it may be overwhelming and difficult, but I am here to walk with you every step of the way. I truly believe everyone has a story to tell, thus I am committed to listen to your story in a supportive and non-judgmental manner. This journey may not be easy, but you do not have to bear the burden alone. Through therapy, we will openly discuss your past and present experiences and we will work collaboratively to set goals and discover effective coping strategies. Furthermore, my multicultural background and understanding of several cultures enables me to have a flexible and open-minded view, which allows me to embrace individual differences and personalize our sessions to your particular needs.
